If you see an animal in distress, please call
(617) 426-9170 with the following information:

  1. A telephone or cell phone number where we can call you back if needed
  2. A location - the street address and town/city, as well as any helpful landmarks, such as “under the porch” or “in the tree to the left of the red house.”
  3. The type of animal and description of the situation


The ARL is currently unable to provide 24-hour/7-day-a-week emergency response services.  We make every effort to respond as quickly as possible to the calls we receive.

The team provides critical support in removing and transporting animals from cruel living conditions, hoarding situations, or illegal breeding operations.
